The first pumpkin pie recipe that we will show to you is the simple one which you can make easily. Here is what you need  to prepare for making this pumpkin pie (10 servings):


  • Whole wheat pastry flour ¾ cup
  • All purposes flour ¾ cup
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Unsalted butter 2 tablespoons
  • Canola oil 3 tablespoons
  • Ice water 3 to 4 tablespoons

Filling Ingredients

  • Unseasoned pumpkin puree             15 ounce
  • Cinnamon                         1 teaspoon (ground)
  • Nutmeg                         ½ teaspoon (ground)
  • Ginger                         ¼ teaspoon (ground)
  • Clove             ¼ teaspoon (ground)
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Low fat sweetened condensed milk 14 ounce
  • Egg 2 large size (lightly beaten)

How to Make 

  1. First, prepare the crust. Grab a medium bowl and mix whole wheat, all purpose flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Melt the butter with using the saucepan. Let it cool and stir in the canola oil. Mix it with the dry ingredient. After that, stir in the ice water slowly while stirring it constantly. Grab the dough on the flatten disk and press it.
  3. Grab a 2 sheets of plastic wrap on the kitchen table, place the dough in the center of the plastic wraps. Roll it to make 12 inch round. Grab a 9 inch pie pan and put it on top of the pie dough. Press it and remove the plastic wrap. Crimp the edge of the dough inside of the pie pan.
  4. You need to preheat your oven to 425 Fahrenheit. While waiting your oven to reach that temperature, you can start making the filling of the pie.
  5. Grab medium bowl and mix the pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt. Add the milk and egg on the mixture and whisk it properly until the entire ingredients well mixed.
  6. Pour the filling ingredients on the pie dough. Grab the pie pan and put it inside the oven. Bake it around 15 minutes. Turn down the temperature to 350 Fahrenheit and bake it again for about 15 minutes. Cool it and you are ready to serve it

Frozen Pumpkin Pie Recipe

2.Frozen Pumpkin Pie

Well, that looks like common pumpkin pie recipe. Maybe some of you want to have different pumpkin pie. If you want different type of pumpkin pie, then you should try frozen pumpkin pie recipe. For making it, you will need to prepare some ingredients like (10 servings):

Crust Ingredients

  • Gingersnap cookies 7 ½ ounces
  • Raisins 2 tablespoons
  • Canola oil 1 tablespoon

Filling Ingredients

  • Pumpkin puree 1 cup
  • Brown sugar 1/3 cup
  • Cinnamon             ½ teaspoon (ground)
  • Ginger             ¼ teaspoon (ground)
  • Nutmeg ¼ teaspoon (freshly grated)
  • Low fat vanilla ice cream             4 cups

How to Make 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 Fahrenheit. After that, you need to coat your pie pan with cooking spray.
  2. First, you need to prepare crust with combining the gingersnap cookies and raisin. Combine it with using food processor. Add oil and then pulse it again. After that, press the dough inside of the pie pan.
  3. Bake the dough for about 10 minutes. After that, cool it down in the rack.
  4. After that, you can start making the filling with combining pumpkin puree, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar in a large bowl. Add the ice cream and mix it again.
  5. Next, you can start scooping the filling into the crust. After that, froze it for about 2 hours. You can start serving it when the filling is softening enough inside of the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
Roasted Pumpkin Recipe

1.Roasted Pumpkin

Well, some of you maybe want something better than pumpkin pie. If you do not like that pumpkin recipe, then you can try this roasted pumpkin recipe. It is also simple enough to make like the other two recipes that we have shown to you. If you want to make this roasted pumpkin, then you need to prepare some ingredients like:

  • Butternut pumpkin 2 kg (peeled and sliced)
  • Garlic clove 4 pcs (unpeeled)
  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

How to Make 

  • Grab a bowl and mix pumpkin, garlic, and olive oil. Do not forget to season it too. After that, toss it.
  • Pour the pumpkin mixture on the baking tray.
  • Arrange it in single layer.
  • Bake it for about 30 minutes until the pumpkin turn into golden color.
  • Serve it in the plate.
